Can I purchase a gift card online?
eGift Cards are available to be purchased online at www.toysrus.ca and www.babiesrus.ca. The standard gift cards can only be purchased at Babies"R"Us and Toys"R"Us store locations. Please note that "R"Us cards are universal - no matter what "R"Us logo is displayed on the card, it can be redeemed at Babies"R"Us or Toys"R"Us, or online at www.babiesrus.ca or www.toysrus.ca.
How Can I Purchase a Gift Card Online?
It's easy! Just follow these simple steps...
•Visit our Gift Card homepage by clicking here.
•Select the quantity of eGift Cards you'd like to purchase by clicking the drop-down menu under the image you'd like to include on your eGift Card. You can add up to 10 eGift Cards per order.
•Depending on the number of eGift Cards you are purchasing, you'll have the same number of eGift Cards to customize as a gift. Click "Next" once you've filled out the required information for each eGift Card in your order.
•You can preview an eGift Card by clicking "Preview." To continue, click "Next" at the bottom of the screen.
•Note: If you have selected too many cards, simply click "Remove" or leave those fields blank. Once you click "Next," the blank cards will automatically be removed from your order.
•The next screen provides a final opportunity to review your eGift Card order. If you are satisfied with your order, click "Add to Cart." Otherwise, click "Go Back" to modify your order.
•Once you have completed the checkout process, each Gift Card recipient will receive an email containing the eGift Card(s). In addition, you will receive a confirmation email.
Can I Order eGift Cards Over the Phone?
Of course! eGift Cards are available for purchase over the phone. Simply call 1-800-TOYSRUS (1-800-669-7787) to place your order.
How Do I Redeem a Gift Card Online?
It's Easy! Just follow these simple steps!!
1. Go to www.toysrus.ca or www.babiesrus.ca and select the items you want to purchase.
2. When you are ready to checkout, click "Cart" and proceed through our regular checkout.
3. Enter your Gift Card number...

4. Enter your 16-digit card number

6. Click "Apply Gift Cards."
7. If the amount of your gift card doesn't cover your order total, you will be prompted to select an additional payment method.
You may use eligible promotional codes when placing an order that can be paid for with "R"Us Gift Cards.
Please make sure you hold on to all Gift Cards used in your purchase until your order arrives. If your order cannot be fulfilled or you need to return any items, it may be necessary to grant credit back to these cards.
Redeeming Gift Cards at an "R"Us Store
At the register, present the Gift Card as you would any other form of payment. The amount you spend will be deducted from your Gift Card balance.
Rules and Regulations for Gift Cards:
•Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or returned for a refund.
•A maximum of five Gift Cards may be applied to an order.
•Gift Cards may be applied toward the price, shipping, and tax charges for eligible items.
•Paper gift certificates that were purchased in Toys"R"Us stores may not be applied to online orders.
Checking "R"Us Gift Card Balance
Checking your "R" Us Gift Card balance is easy. Simply follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Sign In" link located on the top of each page.
2. Enter your email address and password if you are a returning customer.
3. If you are a new customer, enter your email address and create a password.
4. Select "Check Gift Card Balance" located under Account Features.
5. Enter the Gift Card number and click on the "Check Balance" button.
You can also check the balance remaining on your Gift Card by calling the Customer Service Group at 1-800-TOYSRUS (1-800-869-7787) or by visiting any Toys"R"Us/Babies"R"Us retail store. When you call, be sure to have your Gift Card number in front of you.

When do you deduct the money from my gift card?
Unlike a credit card, we deduct the value from your card right after your order has been submitted. In the event that all or part of your order is cancelled, the value that was deducted will be added back on to your gift card.
Why do I need to keep my gift card?
It's important to keep your Gift Card, even if there is no value left on it until your order has arrived and you are completely satisfied. If return your order, or your order gets cancelled, we will return the value to the original card used.
What if I lose my gift card and I return my order or it gets cancelled?

What is a PIN Number and Where is it Located?
A PIN is a personal identification number that is unique to your "R"Us Gift Card. In most cases, it's located on the back of your card in the bottom-right corner. Or, if you have an eGift Card, your PIN is below the words "Card Number."
