Q: Where can I purchase Gift Cards?

A: Cub Gift Cards can be purchased in our stores, online or by calling Customer Care at 855-CUB-FOOD. Please ask one of our associates in the store for more details.

Q: Where are Cub Gift Cards accepted?

A: Cub® Gift Cards are accepted at the following locations for grocery purchases in our stores: ACME®, Albertsons®, Jewel-Osco and Shaw's®.

Q: How can I purchase a large number of Cub Gift Cards?

A: You may call Customer Care at 855-CUB-FOOD to place large dollar and quantity Gift Card orders. Be sure to ask how you can qualify for our special bulk discount.

Q: How do I use a Cub Gift Card?

A: Take your groceries to the register and present your Cub Gift Card to the cashier. The purchase total will be deducted from the card balance. The remaining Gift Card balance will print on your sales receipt.

Q: Can anyone use a Cub Gift Card?

A: Yes, treat your Gift Card like cash. Your name does not appear on the card, so anyone can use it. You may use it yourself or give it to anyone you choose.

Q: How can I pay for Cub Gift Cards when purchasing them?

A: Our stores accept cash, checks, credit cards and debit cards to purchase Gift Cards. For online purchases, we accept credit cards only.

Q: When are funds available for use after purchasing Cub Gift Cards?

A: Funds are available approximately 15 minutes after the activation of a Cub Gift Card.

Q: What denominations are available?

A: Cub Gift Cards can be purchased for any amount between $5 and $500 in store. Cards available online are in the denomination of $10, $25, $50 and $100. For bulk discounts, please call Customer Care at 855-CUB-FOOD.

Q: What can I purchase with a Cub Gift Card?

A: Cub Gift Cards can be used for grocery and merchandise purchases in store. They may not be used for online purchases or for services such as stamps, lottery tickets, money orders, MoneyGram® or Western Union®.

Q: Can a purchase be made without a Cub Gift Card being present?

A: No. For the protection of all our customers, a Cub Gift Card must be present to make a purchase.

Q: Do Cub Gift Cards have fees or expiration dates?

A: No. Cub Gift Cards have NO fees or expiration dates.

Q: How can I check the balance on a Cub Gift Card?

A: To obtain a remaining card balance, you may take your Cub Gift Card to a store and have a cashier look it up, or you can check your sales receipt from the last time you used your Gift Card or call Customer Care at 855-CUB-FOOD.

Q: Can I reload value onto a Cub Gift Card?

A: Yes. Take your Cub Gift Card to any register and present it to the cashier. Pay for the amount you wish to add to the card balance. The cashier will complete the transaction. Total card balance cannot exceed $500. Cub Gift Cards cannot be reloaded over the phone or online.

Q: Does a Cub Gift Card balance have to be zero to add funds?

A: No. Additional funds can be added at any time by visiting one of our stores. Value cannot exceed $500 at any given time.

Q: Can I receive cash back from a Cub Gift Card?

A: You cannot receive cash back from your Cub Gift Card, except where allowed by law.

Q: What happens if I lose a Cub Gift Card?

A: Your Cub Gift Card should be treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Q: Can the unused portion of a lost Cub Gift Card be deactivated?

A: No. Card balances cannot be blocked. You must protect your Cub Gift Card and treat it as cash.

Q: Who do I contact with questions about a Cub Gift Card?

A: If you have questions or problems with your Cub Gift Card, please contact Customer Care at 855-CUB-FOOD.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of times I can use a Cub Gift Card in a day?

A: No. There is no daily limit to the number of times you can use your Cub Gift Card.

Q: What should I do if the balance does not reflect the value loaded on at a store?

A: Take your Cub Gift Card and your sales receipt back to the Customer Service desk at the store that loaded the value on your card. They will research what happened and work with you to resolve the issue.
